Coffee Description By Gabi

In Spanish, “La Piragua” means “the canoe” and there is
a Colombian cumbia song with this name. In this song, “la piragua”
represents a cultural element that unites people and their stories.
It is a symbol of collective memory and the importance
of passing on traditions from one generation to the next.

Not only is it the name of Alexander’s farm, but it is also a perfect
representation of his work in coffee, following his family’s
legacy while constantly improving for a better future.

From a very young age, Alexander has been immersed in the world of coffee. At the age of 15, he began his journey in coffee farming, following in the footsteps of his parents, who were also coffee producers on the family farm. This tradition of cultivating coffee has not only been maintained but has evolved significantly over the decades, he has perfected his technique and experimented with various varieties and processes.
